  • Problem Solving A3

    Problem Solving A3 is another QI method that is well suited for complex problems without clear solutions. This method involves a process of visual problem identification, root cause definition, solution implementation, and tracking over 3 to 5 months.

  • Six Sigma DMAIC

    For complicated issues with unknown causes, Six Sigma DMAIC is a data-heavy approach that requires specialized leadership. This method requires a cross-functional team led by "black belt" or "master black belt" leaders. Six Sigma DMAIC has a moderate timeline lasting 3 to 5 months.

    Select the QI Research model when your project needs formal, peer-reviewed proof that a solution is effective. This method involves rigorous data and statistical analysis of findings which are published for peer review. This method may take anywhere from several months to years.
